Our fabulous founder Liz Putnam =celebrates her birthday on April 3. Help us send her a birthday card to honor all she's done to preserve our parks and empower young people. While attending Vassar in the 1950s, Liz dedicated her thesis to a proposal on how to care for our overrun and underfunded national parks. A few years later, the first Student Conservation Association crews were volunteering in Grand Teton and Olympic National Parks.
